Summer Lovin'

Taking Hudson to the ocean has been one of my greatest memories we have been able to make together! Every morning we would wake up and one of the first things he would say was "to the beach? go swim? okaaaay, let's do that!" and well off we would go! 

He so badly wanted to just be a big boy and waltz on in to the water all by himself. He loved the waves and the rocks and the sand! He played for hours and then I would take him back to the condo and he would fall asleep so fast. 

One of the hardest things about being back on the main land has been having to constantly explain to H that we can't go to the beach every day. Poor kid.... I feel the same way! 

However, we will be able to still have plenty of fun in the sun this summer with our backyard pool, splash pads and the man made "beaches" we have here. We are going to get LOTS of use out of our swim gear thats for sure! 

I wanted to stock Hud up on planty of swim options so I would never have to tell him "no" to getting in the water if something needed to be washed or was still wet. Iplay Baby has so many fun options for both boys and girls when it comes to swim gear and accessories. Their swim diapers are probably my favourite because you don't have to go out and buy disposable ones or realize you've ran out and need to go buy more. You just simple wash and hang dry and you are ready for next time! 

As for my own swim suit, this suit from Olive Ave Boutique is hands down my favourite swim suit that I have ever owned! I felt so comfortable in it which makes life easier when you are chasing a toddler around the sand and playing in the water. Not only did I feel comfortable though, I felt confident! We all know how important that is when it comes to a swim suit too! 

I can't wait to continue to enjoy the sand, sun and water with Hudson all summer long! Even if its not in Hawaii....we will still have a blast!!
